High quality, cool and very functional. Its open design makes it sleek and unobtrusive, and it blends in perfectly with our modern furniture.a bit pricey, but really nice looking for a contemporary setting. Love it.It's just what I wanted and at a fair price.This is a very practical magazine rack as well as a good looking one. It is fairly deep and will accommodate a good number of mags, papers and assorted ephemera while you think of a more suitable place to stash it. It is also very robust. I like the fact that there's no obvious 'handle' yet the arrangement of steel rods form any number of slots which may be used to lift and carry the holder about. I have a few items from the Blow Up range and I like them very much. The steel rods that make up the pieces are unlikely to be 'randomly' placed but do appear pretty asymmetric so their appeal may not be universal but for those who like the feel of the items, Blow Up as a range is certainly very striking and contemporary. The designs suggest urban / industrial but are far from being limited in their reference points and would work well in a variety of settings. As with the Blow Up table, the magazine rack is finished with four unobtrusive white acrylic feet but these practical additions are easily removed should you wish it. The downside may be that the magazine holder, as with other Blow Up items, is not as easy as some equivalent products to clean but if this is top on your priority list I guess you wouldn't be considering this item in the first place. Even if they get a little dusty, Blow Up pieces will still look bright and no less attractive. A 'timeless' design, but the recycling ethos behind it fixes it firmly in these days of new austerity. More interesting than most magazine racks and definitely more interesting than most magazines, don't let your partner tell you he could knock one up in ten minutes with a soldering iron and a few lumps of metal...Loved this magazine rack, very stylish as you would expect from AlessiAs with all styles, it will either appeal or not. It has certainly caught the eye of our guests.However, it does have one flaw. The random pattern does result in the holder providing limited support for flimsy magazines (e.g. TV listings), which flop awkwardly in somewhat of a mess.I'd happily give 4 and a half stars. Quite a Stunning Puzzle piece to look at, Yet surprisingly practical and effective as a Magazine Rack.
