The idea of a carry-on with a hanging compartment is really appealing. I like being able to hang my clothes up when I arrive. It's a beautiful bag that's very well made and holds a lot. I guess I'd like more pockets inside to store bottles of liquid stuff. I like having them upright. I haven't used it on a plane just in the car.I got this for hanging dresses for travel. Even short dresses were too long to fit in the hanging garment section.I love vera Bradley. And when this came in I thought there's no way it would hold all my belongings. It holds a TON of stuff. And the built in pockets are sooooo helpful. Don't hesitate to buy this! Now I'm going to buy the match bag!Amazing! I had to travel across country for an interview... the trip was 2 days, and I had to look “camera-ready” when I was picked up in the airport. This was perfect! I packed two dresses in the garment compartment - they weren’t wrinkled, and was able to pack so much in the duffel area! It was perfect for changing in bathroom stalls at the airport. The person interviewing me was so impressed with “how little” I brought with me. Little did they know..... :) great buy!Love it. This bag is perfect for weekend trips, gigs, business travel, and really any other trip where you want to have something hanging.It's not the longest, so any long shirts/jackets/dresses need to be folded slightly. That doesn't bother me at all but it might be an issue for others.The zipper sticks at 1st, but once you use it a few times it loosens up.Otherwise, no complaints! Great product!Very well made, and works well as a combo garment bag/duffle bag.This item is pretty large, much wider than my checked mid-size suitcase, and can get heavy if you fill it to size!Hard to work the zipper and the design was clumsyI found this to be a poor use of space. Yes it zips up into the duffle looking carry case but it's bulky and really doesn't hold what you would think it does. I found it to be awkward and with all my travel couldn't be bothered. I donated mine.
